This hike is considered moderate to strenuous. All hikers must be able to hike through rough terrain for at least a 7-mile round-trip. In addition, all hikers must carry at least 2 quarts of water.

There is no drinking water available in the canyons. We recommend sturdy hiking shoes, a hat, and a light jacket. A lunch or snacks, hiking pole and bandana are also recommended.
